Excerpts from a news briefing held at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Houston, on March 9. The STS-131 mission of space shuttle Discovery and its seven-member crew will deliver a multi-purpose logistics module filled with science racks to be transferred to laboratories on the International Space Station. STS-131 also will feature three spacewalks. Discovery and its seven-member crew commanded by Alan Poindexter is targeted for an April 5th liftoff from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Fla.
