BIOGRAPHY
John Guidi

Shuttle Launch Manager
Shuttle Processing Directorate
John F. Kennedy Space Center, Florida


John Guidi is currently performing as a Shuttle Launch Manager for the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Shuttle Processing Directorate. In this capacity, he represents the KSC shuttle team for alternating missions as a manager for preparing shuttles from landing through launch including control room operations, where he serves as a deputy to the Shuttle Launch Director.

Mr. Guidi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1987, a Master of Science degree in Space Systems from Florida Institute of Technology in 1992, and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the University of Central Florida in 1996. He joined NASA at the Kennedy Space Center in 1987. Since 1994, he has served as Landing Recovery Director, Shuttle Test Director for 13 launches, Chief of the Launch and Landing Division, Assistant Launch Director and Launch Manager. He lives in Orlando with his bride Cristina Guidi, who also works at KSC as a Program Manager in Spaceport Technology Development.
