BIOGRAPHY
Stan Starr

Chief Engineer
Dynacs Corporation
Kennedy Space Center, Florida


Stan Starr received his Master's degree in Physics from the University of South Florida in 1978 and has worked in engineering and management capacities at the Kennedy Space Center for over 21 years. In that time he has contributed to the engineering of numerous launch pad and shuttle processing systems including cryogenics, control systems, weather monitoring, instrumentation and many others. He also holds two patents.

Starr is currently Chief Engineer for Dynacs Inc., the Kennedy Space Center Engineering Development Contractor. He received the 2001 Dr. Robert H. Goddard Historical Essay Award from the National Space Club for his essay reviewing the history of the Bumper launches.
