Wanda Harding

Wanda J. Harding is the Mission Integration Manager (MIM) for the Gravity Probe B (GP-B) mission. She and the Mission Integration Team (MIT) are tasked by the KSC Launch Services Program with the responsibility of managing all the launch services integration and launch vehicle engineering aspects of the GP-B mission.

Wanda was born in Augusta, Georgia but spent her childhood in Atlanta, Georgia. She moved to Central Florida in 1994. She is very active in her church and serves as the musician of the children's choir. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, especially her little nephew Caleb and niece Hope.

Wanda is a graduate of the Benjamin E. Mays High School Academy of Science and Mathematics (Atlanta, GA). She earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Hampton University (Virginia) in 1991 and received her MS in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta) in 1993. She joined the NASA team at Kennedy Space Center in 1994.

Prior to joining the Launch Services Program, Wanda was assigned to the space station launch site support organization in the areas of facilities, ground support equipment, and launch site processing support for the Italian provided space station logistics module. In 2,000, she was selected to participate in the NASA Administrator's Fellowship Program (NAFP). As a NAFP Fellow, she completed a one year teaching assignment at Spelman College in Atlanta, GA and a productive professional development assignment at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
