BIOGRAPHY
David Gallagher

Project Manager
Jet Propulsion Laboratory
Pasadena, California




Dave Gallagher is the Project Manager of the Space Infrared Telescope Facility at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Prior to his current position, Gallagher managed other NASA projects including the StarLight Project and the Pressure Modulator Infrared Radiometer instrument aboard Mars Surveyor 98. He served as the integration and test manager for the Wide Field/Planetary Camera-2 instrument for the Hubble Space Telescope. Gallagher received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 1982, worked several years for IBM, then started and ran a software-consulting firm before joining JPL in 1989.
