'Smart SPHERES' Fly High Aboard International Space Station

Chris Provencher, Smart SPHERES engineer at NASA's Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif., observes astronaut Kevin Ford set up and supervise the red Smart SPHERES' activity via two downlink channels provided by camcorders in the Kibo laboratory module of the International Space Station. The monitor on the right shows the smartphone attached to the right side of the SPHERES via the Node 2 camcorder. The view on the left shows the smartphone attached to the left side of the SPHERES via another camcorder.
