S128-E-010011: International Space Station

Sept. 11, 2009 --- Discovery carried the Leonardo Multi-Purpose Logistics Module containing life support racks and science racks. The Lightweight Multi-Purpose Experiment Support Structure Carrier was also launched in Discovery's payload bay. STS-128 also swapped shuttle crew member Nicole Stott for station flight engineer Tim Kopra. Kopra rode Discovery home after two months in space.
