    Research Summary

    • The EuTEF Thermometer (EuTemp) is temperature-recording unit on the EuTEF (European Technology Exposure Facility). It will be used to acquire temperatures across the EuTEF facility after ascent and during the stay of EuTEF on ISS.


    • EuTemp is a autonomous and battery self-powered temperature acquisition unit able to survive in extreme temperatures for several days after launch.

    Description

    EuTemp is an autonomous and battery-powered multi input thermometer for measuring EUTEF temperatures during the unpowered transfer from the Shuttle Cargo Bay to the Columbus EPF. It is not a scientific instrument but a support equipment to the other instruments.
