JSC2012-E-096286 (22 June 2012) --- Expedition 32 backup Flight Engineer Chris Hadfield of the Canadian Space Agency lays flowers at the Kremlin Wall at Red Square in Moscow June 22, 2012 where Russian space icons are interred as part of the traditional ceremonies leading to the Soyuz launch of his prime crew member colleagues to the International Space Station scheduled for July 15 (Kazakhstan time) from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Hadfield, NASA’s Tom Marshburn and Russia’s Roman Romanenko are backing up the prime crew, Soyuz Commander Yuri Malenchenko, NASA’s Sunita Williams and Aki Hoshide of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. Hadfield, Marshburn and Romanenko will get their turn to launch on December 5 to the station as part of the Expedition 34/35 crew. Photo credit: NASA
