Nyberg and two other flight engineers – cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin of Russia’s Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) and astronaut Luca Parmitano of the European Space Agency – were launched earlier in the day aboard a Soyuz TMA-09M spacecraft. The trio is slated for a 5 1/2 month stay aboard the station.
