JSC2008-E-119045 (30 Sept. 2008) --- The Soyuz TMA-13 is pictured during preparations for a scheduled Oct. 12 launch in Baikonur, Kazakhstan of two Expedition 18 crew members and a space flight participant, destination, the International Space Station. Onboard for liftoff will be astronaut Michael Fincke, Expedition 18 commander; Russia's Federal Space Agency cosmonaut Yury Lonchakov, flight engineer; and spaceflight participant Richard Garriott. Garriott is slated to return to Earth with the Expedition 17 crew members or the current inhabitants of the orbital outpost, while Fincke and Lonchakov will remain onboard for a much longer stay.
