The Soyuz TMA-5 spacecraft blasts off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Oct. 14, 2004. Onboard is the Expedition 10 crew -- Commander Leroy Chiao and Flight Engineer Salizhan Sharipov -- and Russian Space Forces cosmonaut Yuri Shargin.
