    Expedition 31 Welcomes Three Crewmates

    Expedition 31 began Friday, April 27 at 4:18 a.m. EDT when Expedition 30 undocked. Commander Oleg Kononenko and Flight Engineers Don Pettit and Andre Kuipers continued their stay and have been living aboard the International Space Station since Dec. 23.

    Flight Engineers Gennady Padalka, Joe Acaba and Sergei Revin joined Expedition 31 May 17 at 12:36 a.m. They launched aboard the Soyuz TMA-04M spacecraft two days earlier from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan and docked to the Poisk mini-research module.
