Andrew Westphal, Christopher Snead and Zack Gainsforth have produced over 100 keystones from the Stardust comet aerogel in UC Berkeley. Above is an image of special "needles" mounted on micro-manipulators controlled by computer to carefully and precisely cut out sections of aerogel that contain cometary samples.
