Tank Meets Boosters
Inside Kennedy Space Center's Vehicle Assembly Building, the external fuel tank to be used for the STS-129 launch is being lowered into High Bay 2, where it will be attached to the solid rocket boosters already stacked on the mobile launcher platform. The white tops of the twin boosters can be seen at either side of the tank. The STS-129 mission is preparing to launch on an 11-day supply mission to the International Space Station.
