Geddes crater is known to be a geologically interesting feature. The ridge of Antoniadi Dorsum bisects the crater and in the center of the crater's floor is a large depression with a distinctive orange hue, a color similar to areas associated with explosive volcanism. This recently acquired image reveals new, high-resolution detail of that potentially volcanic depression, including the presence of many hollows.
