Kuiper, Up Close
This may be MESSENGER's best image yet of the interior of Kuiper crater. Kuiper is one of the most striking impacts on the planet, with relatively reddish ejecta and ponds of solidified impact melt. This complex crater may even contain hollows. Can you pick them out on the northern edge of the crater floor?
