The main crater in this image, Eitoku, displays central peaks that appear especially prominent due to the high solar incidence angle and the fact that this image has not been map projected. Central peaks are common in Mercury's larger craters. Smaller craters visible on the crater floor and rim of Eitoku indicate that it is a relatively old crater.
