The AMASE mission takes place on an archipelago, named Svalbard, located in the Arctic Ocean roughly between Norway and the North Pole. The above map shows the location of Svalbard in relation to the entire Arctic Circle, while the map located below shows the routing of the AMASE mission between the islands that make up this archipelago.
