Navajo Nation Students and Teachers Learn About the Moon

The Lunar Quest Program worked with the Navajo Nation in Arizona to provide 85 students and teachers from the Chinley School District hands-on learning opportunities related to the moon. The participants attended classes on lunar geology, local geology, and lunar astronomy. They were also introduced to the Lunar Quest Program's missions, instruments, and research development. The event also included a field trip to see impact craters, lava flows, lava tubes, and more.
