The latest Operation IceBridge Logo tells the whole story. With the NASA blue logo with red swatch as the backdrop, this image features the ICESat satellite that ceased functioning in 2010, a airplane representing the many IceBridge aircraft being flown to fill the data gap between ICESat and the launch of ICESat2 planned for 2016, and outlines of Greenland and Antarctica, the areas being monitored, joined by an equatorial laser scan.
