Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 is Prepared for Shipping

Hubble Space Telescope Program technicians prepare the Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC 2) for shipment back to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. WFPC 2 was removed from the telescope during Servicing Mission 4. It flew on Hubble for more than 15 years and was responsible for capturing many of Hubble’s most spectacular and memorable images.
