What: Members of the media are invited to the "Eight Years of Chandra" symposium. The symposium will feature the latest results from the Chandra X-ray Observatory, one of NASA’s Great Observatories. In addition to the slate of science presentations, a new spectacular image will be released to the press and public in conjunction with the symposium.

When: October 23-25, 2007

Where: Marriott Huntsville: 5 Tranquility Base (Next to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center), Huntsville, Alabama

To Attend: Registration for the media is free and can be arranged by emailing Megan Watzke (mwatzke@cfa.harvard.edu). Please note that reporters will be responsible for arranging and funding their own hotel and travel accommodations.
