Brian Bury
Brian Bury is a project engineer supporting the NEEMO 14 project.
Brian Bury is a project engineer with Jacobs Engineering supporting the Engineering and Science Contract Group with NASA. His work includes designing and certifying flight hardware and testing of Extra-Vehicular Activity (EVA) procedures at NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory. Bury has participated on NEEMO missions as an engineering support diver for the EVA Physiology Systems and Performance Project (EPSP). Bury will be supporting NEEMO 14 to collect data regarding the effects of suit weight and center of gravity on human performance in partial gravity environments. His primary role on NEEMO 14 will be to support the aquanauts on their EVAs as a working diver.Bury has also previously worked at NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory where he helped train astronauts for spacewalks.
Bury was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and was raised in the greater Houston, Texas area. Bury graduated from Pasadena High School in Pasadena, Texas. He holds a bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently working toward his Master's degree in Project Management.
