...And the Atlas V Clears the Tower
The Atlas V/Centaur rocket climbs up and away from Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Safely tucked inside the protective payload fairing are NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite.
