Goldin at 1 p.m. EST on Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, in the Program Review Center, room 9H40, NASA Headquarters, 300 E Street S.W., Washington, DC. Each year, the panel reviews and evaluates current and future NASA programs and activities and reports its findings to the NASA Administrator. Priority is given to programs that involve the safety of human flight. Following the Apollo spacecraft fire on Jan. 27, 1967, Congress enacted legislation to establish the ASAP as a senior advisory committee to NASA. The ASAP report will be available for media representatives at 1 p.m. Thursday in the NASA Headquarters Newsroom (202/358- 1600).
