NASA Sets Atlantis, Space Station Crew News Conference

HOUSTON - On Saturday, June 16, the 10 astronauts and cosmonauts flying aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis and the International Space Station will hold a news conference at 5:08 p.m. CDT. Media representatives at participating NASA locations will be able to ask questions during the news conference. Journalists should contact their local field center to confirm its availability.

NASA Television will provide live coverage of the 40-minute news conference. For NASA TV downlink, schedule and streaming video information, visit:

During Atlantis' STS-117 mission, a new segment has been attached to the station's backbone, and new solar arrays have been deployed to prepare the station for the future delivery of European and Japanese laboratories.
