NASA Awards Contract for Information Science and Library Services
GREENBELT, Md. - NASA has selected Library Associates of Maryland, Rockville, Md., to provide comprehensive technical support to the technical libraries at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md. and Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Va.
The cost-plus-award fee, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is valued at $26 million. The five-year, follow-on contract was awarded under the Small Business Set-Aside Program and begins Dec. 1, 2006.
The contractor will provide integrated library system management, maintenance and related library services for broad and comprehensive library functions. Responsibilities involve information science support functions that include information storage, retrieval, and delivery of information resources relevant to Goddard's mission.
