| NASA Selects Maryland Firm for Mission Support
HAMPTON, Va. - NASA has selected Swales Aerospace, Beltsville, Md., to provide research and technology services to the agency's Langley Research Center.
The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a maximum value of $200 million over five years.
Swales Aerospace will provide on-site research, engineering and technical support for the development of computational and experimental aerodynamic databases; structural testing, analysis and interpretation of data; guidelines for flight deck design and systems analysis and conceptual design of aerospace vehicles. Swales will also provide mission architectures; engineering design of system components; development of mission requirements; support of National Airspace System modernization and independent safety analyses and assessments.
