CONTRACT RELEASE: C06-003

NASA Selects Support for Center for Aerospace Information

NASA has selected Chugach Industries, Inc., of Anchorage, Alaska, for a follow-on contract to assist the agency in conducting a scientific and technical information program. The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is valued at $25.6M over five years.

Via the Center for AeroSpace Information in Hanover Md., Chugach will acquire, produce, manage and distribute scientific and technical information to advance NASA's goals in aeronautics, space science and technology, to communicate this knowledge and to improve U.S. competitiveness.

The contract requires Chugach to capture and distribute NASA and non-agency scientific and technical information, provide this information via a web-based environment and maintain a web-based search and access capability.

The principal work will be performed in Hanover, with a portion of the effort located at NASA's Langley Research Center, Hampton, Va.
