Griffin's Statement on NASA Deputy Administrator Nominee Shana Dale

The following is a statement by NASA Administrator Michael Griffin on the nomination of Shana Dale as deputy administrator for NASA.

"I am delighted with the President's choice of Shana Dale as the administration's nominee for deputy administrator of NASA. Ms. Dale knows every aspect of space policy from her experience on Capitol Hill and in the White House, and if confirmed, would be a valuable addition to NASA's team as we carry out the President's Vision for Space Exploration."

For more information on Dale go to the White House Web site or call the White House Press Office.
