NASA Switching News Release List Serve

Beginning Thursday, NASA will move news release e-mail distribution to a new server. To ensure subscribers continue receiving releases, there will be a three-day transition period.

From Thursday through Monday, Oct. 24, subscribers will receive a copy of the release sent from both the old and new servers. The transition will be completed on Monday, and starting Tuesday, Oct. 25, users will only receive one copy of each release.

During the transition, NASA news releases will come from two addresses:

NASANews@hq.nasa.gov (old list serve);

NASANews@mediaservices.nasa.gov (new list serve).

Subscribers to the NASA news release service do not need to re-subscribe to the new list. However, if you do not receive e-mails from: mediaservices.nasa.gov during the transition, it is possible your e-mail address did not migrate to the new list serve. To re-subscribe to the new list after the transition, send an e-mail to: hqnews-subscribe@mediaservices.nasa.gov

For assistance with other distribution questions, send an e-mail to: hqnews-help@mediaservices.nasa.gov
