CONTRACT RELEASE: C05-005

NASA Occupational Medicine Contract Awarded to Wyle Labs

NASA has awarded a potential 10 year, $128.7 million contract to Wyle Laboratories, Inc. for Occupational Medicine and Health services at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Houston, and White Sands Test Facility, Las Cruces, N.M.

Wyle Laboratories, Inc. of Houston will provide services to support occupational, emergency and preventive medicine; flight medicine; occupational health; and human test support. The services will be primarily provided at Johnson; Sonny Carter Training Facility, Ellington Field, White Sands; and facilities in Russia housing NASA and agency contractor personnel.

The contract's three-year base period, valued at $34,473,484, begins Dec. 1, 2005. Options that could extend the contract an additional seven years would increase the contract value to $128,705,367. This is a cost plus award term, performance incentive fee contract.
