CONTRACT RELEASE: C05-003

NASA Awards Software Development Technology Services Contract

NASA has selected Northrop Grumman Information Technology-TASC for scientific software services.

The contract covers high performance computing programs for the Software Integration and Visualization Office at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md. The contractor will provide software development, analysis and scientific visualization services for NASA's Modeling, Analysis and Prediction program.

This contract was awarded under Northrop Grumman's Information Technology Millennia Government Wide Acquisition Contract with the General Services Administration. Northrop Grumman Information Technology-TASC will receive a cost-plus award fee, indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity task order with a maximum value of $30 million.

The principal work will be performed at Goddard. Additional work will be performed at NASA's Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif.; the Goddard Institute for Space Studies, New York; and the contractor's facility in Chantilly, Va.
