NASA Reschedules NOAA Satellite Launch

NASA's launch of the environmental satellite (NOAA-N) for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is scheduled for Friday, May 20 at 6:22 a.m. EDT.

Liftoff is from Space Launch Complex 2 at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. The satellite has a 10-minute launch window.

NASA TV, Voice and Web Coverage:
NASA TV coverage starts at 4 a.m. EDT. The first 25 minutes of the launch will be shown on AMC-6, Transponder 9 located at 72 degrees West longitude. The second part of launch coverage is on AMC-6 Transponder 23, located at 72 degrees West longitude beginning approximately 45 minutes after launch. NASA TV information and webcast is available at:
