Return to Flight Task Group Changes Final Public Meeting
 
 
The Stafford-Covey Return to Flight Task Group will conduct its final public meeting at 1 p.m. EDT today at the Holiday Inn Capitol's Discovery Room II, 555 C Street SW, Washington. The group will complete assessment of NASA's implementation of the 15 Space Shuttle Return to Flight recommendations of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board.

The meeting will be followed by a 4 p.m. EDT news conference at the NASA Headquarters auditorium, 300 E Street SW, Washington. The news conference will be carried live on NASA TV. Live audio of the meeting is available on the Internet at:

Press conference questions from media will be taken from Headquarters and participating NASA locations. Participants are Return to Flight Task Group Co-Chairman Richard O. Covey, Technical Panel Lead Joseph Cuzzupoli, Management Panel Lead Dr. Daniel L. Crippen, and Operations Panel Lead Col. James C. Adamson.

NASA TV is available on the Web and via satellite in the continental U.S. on AMC-6, Transponder 9C, C-Band, at 72 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz. It's available in Alaska and Hawaii, on AMC-7, Transponder 18C, C-Band, at 137 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 4060.0 MHz.
