NASA Awards Goddard Scientific Support Services Contract
NASA has selected Science Applications International Corporation, Beltsville, Md., to provide scientific support to advance the use of satellite data in weather, climate and environmental prediction.
The contract covers the development and use of atmospheric, oceanic and land surface models and data assimilation systems for the Global Modeling and Assimilation Office at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md.
Science Applications International Corporation will receive a cost-plus award fee, indefinite delivery/quantity task order contract with a minimum value of $1 million and a maximum value of $48 million. The principal work will be performed at Goddard and at the contractor's facility in Beltsville.
