NASA Virtual News Briefing: Genesis Clean Room Update

On Thursday, Sept. 30, at 3 p.m. EDT, Eileen Stansbery, a member of the Genesis clean room team, will answer questions about the status of the mission's science objectives during a listen-and-log-on news briefing. Stansbery is Assistant Director of Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science at NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston.

To participate, reporters must call NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory Media Relations Office at 818/354-5011 to obtain call-in information. Images and graphics supporting the news briefing will be posted online at the start of the briefing, at:

This virtual news briefing follows a morning media availability at the U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Utah. To participate in that event, reporters must call Paula Nicholson at Dugway at 435/831-3409 for credentialing information. This will be the final media availability of the Genesis team and the Genesis samples at Dugway.
