(Phone: 256/544-0034) RELEASE: N04-065 NASA ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSES ALABAMA LEGISLATORS NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe will address Alabama legislators and citizens in the Old House Chamber of the State Capitol in Montgomery, Thursday at 4:30 p.m. EDT. He will talk about the Vision for Space Exploration. The Vision, announced in January by President Bush, calls for NASA to return humans to the moon and will lay the groundwork for exploration missions to Mars and beyond. Thursday is National Space Day. Administrator O'Keefe accepted an invitation from Alabama Gov. Bob Riley to participate in the state's Space Day activities. Administrator O'Keefe and Gov. Riley will be available to the news media in the Old House Chamber in the State Capitol Building following the speech.
