NASA Presents Return To Flight Update

The Space Shuttle Program is making solid progress in meeting the milestones required for Return to Flight. NASA remains confident March 2005, is a reasonable planning window for resuming Space Shuttle missions.

NASA will provide a Return to Flight media teleconference update Friday at 3 p.m. EDT. To participate, reporters should contact Allard Beutel or Melissa Mathews at: 202/358-4769/1272 no later than noon EDT Friday.

Participants:

– – Michael Kostelnik, NASA's Deputy Associate Administrator for International Space Station and Space Shuttle Programs
– –Space Shuttle Program Manager, Bill Parsons
– – Space Shuttle Program Deputy Manager, Wayne Hale
