Space Shuttle Return To Flight Efforts: One Year Later

NASA officials will provide an overview of Space Shuttle Return to Flight activities on Tuesday Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. EST. The telephone media conference will focus on where NASA is in efforts to safely return Space Shuttles to flight.

Interested media should call: 1/888/590-9481 toll free at 1:45 p.m. EST to dial into the briefing. The passcode is "Return to Flight."

The briefing participants are:

  • Dr. Michael Greenfield, NASA's Space Flight Leadership Council Co-chair and Associate Deputy Administrator, Technical Programs
  • William Readdy, NASA's Associate Administrator for Space Flight
  • Michael Kostelnik, NASA's Deputy Associate Administrator for International Space Station and Space Shuttle Programs
