NASA Dedicates Columbia Memorial

NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe will preside at the dedication of the memorial for the crew of the Space Shuttle Columbia at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., on February 2, 2004.

The event begins at approximately 3:00 p.m. EST. The ceremony is closed except for family members and invited guests. The memorial site will be open to the public after the event. Due to weather and family member considerations, the ceremony will be inside a tent at the cemetery. NASA is providing live television pool coverage of the event and still imagery.

NASA Television is available on AMC-9, transponder 9C, C-Band, located at 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz. For information about NASA TV on the Internet, visit:
