NASA Previews Fiscal Year 2005 Budget

NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe will preview the agency's fiscal year (FY) 2005 budget proposal during a press conference at 1 p.m. EST, Tuesday, Feb. 3. The press conference is in the NASA Headquarters auditorium at 300 E Street SW, Washington.

Media registration is in the west lobby starting at 11:30 a.m. EST. Budget documents will be available at registration and after 2 p.m. EST on the Internet at:

http://www.nasa.gov/about/budget/index.html


The press conference will be carried live on NASA Television with questions from reporters in Washington and participating agency centers. NASA Television is available on AMC-9, transponder 9C, C-Band, located at 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz. NASA"s associate administrators will be available for telephone roundtables to discuss how the FY 2005 budget pertains to their agency enterprise.
