NASA CHANGES INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION BRIEFING

NASA is moving a scheduled news briefing about activities aboard the 
International Space Station to Friday, Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. EST from 
NASA's Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston. Space Station managers 
will update reporters on the work being done by astronaut Michael 
Foale and Russian cosmonaut Alexander Kaleri, as they near the 
halfway mark of their six-month mission. 

The panel will take questions from reporters at participating NASA 
centers. The briefing will be broadcast live on NASA Television.

Participants in Friday's briefing:


Bill Gerstenmaier, International Space Station Program Manager 
Joel Montalbano, Expedition 8 Lead Flight Director 
Dr. Janice Voss, Expedition 8 Lead Increment Scientist 
Foale, the Expedition 8 Commander and NASA Science Officer, and 
Kaleri, the Flight Engineer, were launched to the Space Station on 
Oct. 18. They will spend almost 200 days on the outpost, with a 
scheduled homecoming April 29. For information about activities
