NASA Announces Engineering & Technology Contract Award

NASA has selected SGT, Inc. for award of a contract to provide Multi-Disciplinary Engineering and Technology Services (METS) in support of the Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate (AETD) at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md.

The contractor will provide engineering services for the formulation, design, development, non-flight fabrication, integration, testing, verification, and operations of space flight and ground system hardware and software. That includes development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions. The emphasis in engineering services will be in the areas of systems engineering, software engineering, information technology, Guidance Navigation and Control services.

SGT, Inc, will receive an 8(a) Cost-Plus Award Fee, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a minimum value of $1 million and a maximum value of $250 million. The work will be performed principally at Goddard and at the contractor's facility in Greenbelt, Md. The contract will have a five-year ordering period.
