NASA Awards MOMS Contract To Honeywell Technology Solutions

NASA has awarded the Mission Operations and Mission Services (MOMS) contract to Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. (HTSI), of Columbia, Md. The maximum estimated value of the cost-plus-award-fee Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is $900 million.

HTSI will provide support to NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Greenbelt, Md., for spacecraft flight operations, mission data collection and distribution, mission services integration, systems engineering and development tasks, flight dynamics support and systems engineering, mission communications support, and mission-operations and flight-dynamics technology development and infusion. The contract encompasses all flight mission phases including formulation, development and operations for prime mission and extended mission.

The MOMS contract, with a base period of performance of five years and two one-year options, is the third of five work packages to be awarded that are contained in the Space Mission Communications and Data Services (SMCDS) solicitation.

There are nine major members of the Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc., team, including subcontractors a.i. Solutions, Inc., of Lanham, Md., a small business, and SGT, Inc., of Greenbelt, Md., a Small Disadvantaged/Veteran-owned Business.
