NASA Schedules Space Station Briefing

NASA International Space Station officials will provide a comprehensive look at the first month's work by Expedition 8 Commander Mike Foale and Flight Engineer Alexander Kaleri during a mission status briefing Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. EST.

The briefing is at the Johnson Space Center, Houston. NASA Television will carry the briefing with question-and-answer capability at participating NASA centers.

Participants:

  • Mike Suffredini, Space Station Operations Integration Manager
  • Joel Montalbano, Expedition 8 Lead Flight Director
  • Pete Hasbrook, Expedition 8 Increment Manager
  • Dr. Don Thomas, Space Station Program Scientist

    NASA Television is available on AMC-9, transponder 9C, C-Band, located at 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz. For information about NASA TV on the Internet, visit:
