NASA Administrator Commencement Speaker

NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe delivers remarks to the Loyola University, College of Arts & Sciences graduates, at the 92nd Spring Commencement ceremony, Saturday, May 17, at 10 a.m. EDT in the Marquette Horseshoe, St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, La.

For his 25 years of public service, Loyola President, the Rev. Bernard P. Knoth, S.J., will present Administrator O'Keefe with an honorary doctor of humane letters. Administrator O'Keefe received his Bachelor of Arts in history from Loyola in 1977.

O'Keefe was appointed the 10th administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration on December 21, 2001. Administrator O'Keefe leads the NASA team as the agency strives to understand and protect the Earth, explores the universe and searches for life, and seeks to inspire the next generation of explorers.
