The Columbia Accident Investigation Board (CAIB) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST at the University of Houston/Clear Lake, Bayou Theatre, 2700 Bay Area Boulevard, Houston.CAIB chairman, retired Navy Admiral Harold W. "Hal" Gehman
Jr., and other members will hear from individuals who have been
asked to appear before the board to answer questions about the NASA
Space Shuttle program.

NASA TV will carry the public hearing, but will cut away for a
previously scheduled, live International Space Shuttle education
event from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. EST. NASA Television is available
on GE-2, Transponder 9C, at 85 degrees west longitude, vertical
polarization, with a frequency of 3880 MHz and audio of 6.8 MHz.
