| NASA Awards Contract For R&D Engineering Services
NASA's Ames Research Center (ARC), Moffett Field, Calif., today awarded an 8(a) cost-plus-award-fee contract valued at approximately $51 million to ASRC Aerospace Corporation, Greenbelt, Md. ASRC is an Alaska Native Corporation.
ASRC will provide on-site support services for a variety of engineering design and hardware developmental programs and projects at ARC. Under the terms of the contract, the requirements will be stated in performance-based contract task orders.
The period of performance is expected to be five years, consisting of a two-year base period followed by three one-year options. ASRC will begin its phase-in operations in September 2003. Full contract responsibility begins October 1, 2003, and continues through September 30, 2008.
